Stories from the Su
Casey Ann Randall
“I'm Casey Randall, and I've lived in Alaska for 25 and a half years now. I'm a dog musher.
For us, dog mushing is a family adventure. We're going into our sixth season of having a dog kennel. We have 45 sled dogs. We started with six or seven, and that multiplied very quickly. We do it together. My husband, Matt, and our two kids.”

"Almost 100% of my motivation for being out here in the West Susitna area is for my children. I want them to have a place to be kids and get away from town, and experience Alaska for what it really is. I think if projects like this continue, there won't be as many easily accessible spaces for people to get their children out and experience the same things.”
